My "Go To" Super Healthy Granola Bar Recipe (free)

Just pure, clean ingredients that promote healthy liver function and a taste that satisfies even a chocolate sweet tooth!⁠

Serves 12 bars in the Granola Bar™ Pan⁠

1 cup walnuts⁠
1 cup sliced almonds⁠
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut⁠
½ cup organic gluten free rolled oats⁠ (omit for low carb) 
¼ cup ground flaxseed⁠ (omit for low carb)

1 large egg or flax egg⁠
3 Tbl honey or (monk fruit sweetener or stevia blend for low carb version)⁠
2 Tbl almond butter⁠
1 Tbl coconut oil, melted⁠

¼ cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips⁠ (omit for low carb or use stevia blend chocolate chips).

Preheat oven 350°F. No prep required for the GBP.⁠ If using an 8x8" pan line with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.

Chop up walnuts into small pieces. In large bowl mix walnuts, almonds, shredded coconut, oats & flaxseed.⁠

In small bowl whisk egg & honey, then whisk in almond butter & melted coconut.⁠

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Firmly press mix into GBP, dividing the mix evenly between 12 bars. Sprinkle tops with mini chocolate chips - press them into bars. Bake for 18-20 min. until edges & tops are golden brown.⁠

For 8x8" dish press mix into prepared pan, top and press in chocolate chips and bake for same time until edges are golden brown.

Allow to cool completely, then pull sides of GBP away from center to release edges of bars & push up on bottom to pop out each bar.⁠

For 8x8" dish use parchment paper corners to remove from pan, place on cutting board, cut into 12 servings.

Store in airtight container on counter for 3-5 days or in fridge for 7-10 days.⁠
