My journey began the day I baked my first batch of homemade granola bars… and ended up with a tray of broken, uneven pieces shaped like Idaho and Nebraska (nothing against those states!).

I felt:

  • Frustrated that my bars crumbled apart.
  • Annoyed that I had wasted money on ingredients.
  • Defeated —why was this so hard?

Sitting in my emotions, I thought, "There has GOT to be an easier way!"

The obvious fix? Eliminate the cutting. I needed a pan that shaped the bars for me—like a cupcake pan but for granola bars. No cutting = no crumbling. Surely, something like that already existed, right?
